Custom framed word art can decorate walls with a positive message. I personally value being surrounded by things that uplift me. And meaningful word art can be inspirational.
Two of my friends had upcoming birthdays. Since they also believe in the power of words, what sort of gift should I get them?
I decided to create custom framed word art as a gift.
One friend is a life coach and works with clients to find effective ways to alleviate stress. My other friend successfully overcame cancer and is very aligned with wellness, healing, health and keeping a positive mindset.
Here is what I created for my life coach friend.
Themed word-art around nature, nurture, refreshing and relaxing.
For the text, I used colors organically found in nature. Different shades of green and brown feel nurturing. Greens are refreshing, tranquil and symbolic of growth. Browns are grounding and earthy.
Painting a custom picture frame with green vines over a brown textured faux finish added a nice touch.
Then I had the idea to add real twigs to the frame. I spelled out the word, AAH. I glued the twigs right onto the frame. These twigs also compliment the center image of this word art.

My other friend was victorious over cancer. Here is what I created for her.
Custom word art aligned with wellness, healing, health, and keeping a positive mindset.
I selected words carefully. I wanted to choose words that expressed things she valued and thought important to her healing.
Cancer medical charts as well as the paperwork that goes with it, is full of words that describe everything unwanted. The intention of this gift was to give her a way to see lots of positive words associated with her name. I wanted to infuse this art with beautiful words that celebrate who she truly is.
I placed a colorful photograph in the center of all these meaningful words. An image that captured a celebratory moment. The final day of radiation treatments. I used pinks, magenta, and turquoise as the main colors for this frame and words to compliment the colors in the photo.
