Ever since I was little, I vowed to pick a career I really
enjoyed. I figured…since most people spend 40+ hours/week
working…if I love my work…how much happier
would I be?
After graduating from Kutztown University with a BFA in Fine Art, I started entertaining children at birthday parties and holiday and company events. Working with kids is so much fun. Inspiring a group
of 5-year-olds to laugh and creating fun memories is very rewarding. With my art background … I
sure do some awesome face painting!
I began my professional art career by hand
painting furniture and selling it on consignment and
at art/craft shows. In 1994, I found my niche painting
wall murals in private homes and have been working mostly

I started out mostly painting nurseries and kids rooms and lately have been custom creating older children, teen and tween rooms. It is not unusual for me to have kids camped out in the doorway watching their rooms come alive with their favorite things. Many clients have told me, "It's not just a painting - it's an experience!"
I love custom painting for my clients. I get to help create homes that reflect the personality of the people living in them. Together we look at accessories, fabrics, and colors that have been carefully picked out, then brainstorm about how to add just the right decorative paint to pull everything together.
I always consider furniture arrangement into the mural design so rooms can be enjoyed through common room transitions.
I paint children's rooms, teen rooms, faux finish walls, clouds/sky on ceilings, logos in businesses, furniture, fences in pre-schools and more! I paint wall murals near Los Angeles, Ca and since I am based in the middle of the San Fernando Valley. If you need a muralist and live in another state or county, I certainly can travel.
In 2008 I launched Wall About Fun (Large and small Canvas Wall Art for kids with matching Wall Decals.) This art is a reflection of popular themes mural clients
have requested over the years.
Our Wall Decals literally look like they are painted on walls when applied. You can even see brush strokes! Decal designs take into consideration,
furniture layout, so rooms become beautiful and stay highly functional - just like my custom wall murals!
In 2011 Wall About Fun graphics became available on home decor, apparel and fun gifts at Tots O Fun.
