I have painted hundreds of baby nurseries and children’s rooms, as well as tween and teen rooms, custom borders in kitchens, hand-painted logos in businesses and gorgeous Faux-rubbed walls.
I love bringing my clients ideas to life through paint.
“I enjoy going into a room with totally blank walls, brainstorming with you, understanding what it is you want and the style you’d like, and pulling it all together for you.”
I factor furniture arrangement into the mural layout so finished murals can be enjoyed through common room transitions.
(I often do this so well that when a client has me back a few years later it is usually to paint a different room and they show me how their baby room is still being enjoyed by their 7-year-old!)
You are welcome to hang out with me while I am painting and watch your room transform. I’m told often, “It’s not just a painting – it’s an experience!”
So…What would you like?
- A mural painted on a single wall?
- A custom hand-painted border?
- or…the whole enchilada? (every inch of wall and ceiling painted!)

Colette Stroffolino: Artist, Children’s Entertainer & Author
Ever since Colette was little, she vowed to pick a career she really enjoyed.
She figured, “Since most people spend 40+ hours/week working…if I love my work…how much happier would I be?”
The only problem was that she enjoyed and was passionate about many things (and good at them, too). How could she pick just one? Slowly she figured it out. Pick one career, do it well…and when the time is right, learn more about your next passion and add it into the mix. And that is just what she did.
After graduating from Kutztown University with a BFA in Fine Art, Colette didn’t know what sort of art she wanted to create yet, so she followed another passion – one that combined acting and her love of being around children. Colette started entertaining children at birthday parties, holiday parties, and mall events. “What I love about entertaining kids that it is obvious when I have done a good job. Seeing happy faces and knowing a child felt special and important for a moment in time, partially due to me, is priceless.”
Colette loved working with children and used her art skills to do face-painting…but was still searching for a clear direction to go with her art.
Colette began her professional art career by hand-painting furniture and selling it on consignment at art/craft shows until she found her niche painting wall murals. As a child, Colette loved paint by number sets. “Painting murals is like painting a giant paint by number set, once the thinking is done and the sketch is on the wall!” She started out by painting a lot of baby nurseries and kids rooms. Painting magical environments for kids felt like the next natural step in her career. Then, she branched out to include painting murals in other parts of homes as well as in businesses. Apparently, when you start going in the right direction, everything flows. Colette has been working by referrals and repeat clients, ever since!

After entertaining kids and painting murals simultaneously for over a decade, she still loved what she was doing…and decided it was time to learn something new. Colette learned how to create beautiful digital art and made it available for purchase.

Colette also loves chihuahuas. In 2016 she found a way to creatively combine her love of writing and her love of dogs by writing a book about her first pet, Lucie. Lucie used to travel to work with Colette and hang out while she painted murals! Her book, Small Dog, Big Adventures was published February 2017.
